Takes acting classes at ‘De kleine academie’ in Brussels, where he learns to draw again. Comes in contact with Barend Weyens. They make a short theatre piece together, called Twee eieren in een pan (Two Egss in a Pan).

His daughter and he have a lot of fun together looking at people.

Realisation of the animation film Jeu de Boules.
1996
Teaches the postgraduate course on animation film to the only postgrad student in the course, Rob Breyne. It was never clear who was the student and who the teacher.

Realisation of the animation film De Zetel.
1999 & 2001
Together with Piró, he has an exhibition in the Eeklo Academy and Cultural Centre ‘De Spil’ in Roeselare.
2000
Short training course in story-telling with Philippe De Maertelaere.

Realisation of the animation film Het Bed.

Becomes a master wine-taster.

Takes lessons in screen-printing with Barbara Verstraete. Rediscovers the pleasure of drawing and learns how to avoid the pitfalls of workmanship.

Takes part in the reconstruction of James Ensor’s painting of the Entry of Christ in Brussels.

Spectator at ‘The procession of the paintings’ by Roger Raveel in Machelen.

He has had fifty years of creating disorder. He is now free to use his remaining time to do some clearing up.
